The shape of business this fits
- Founder-led. You started it. You're still the last stop for every hard call.
- B2B service delivery. Agencies, consultancies, professional services, technical services.
- Grown past one person's head. The team is real. The way the work moves has not caught up.
- You want a diagnosis before a big project, not a retainer or a rebuild proposal.
What this is not
- Not a strategy consultancy. No frameworks, no maturity models, no five-year plans.
- Not a staffing firm. Ray does not place your next hire or run a recruit.
- Not a marketing or sales operations firm. Delivery and internal operations are the lane.
- Not a software vendor. If tools are the fix, that gets scoped separately through RAWTech.
What the engagement looks like
- Kickoff. Ninety minutes with you. Frame the problem, agree what "fixed" would look like, name the two or three parts of the business we will actually study.
- Interviews. Four conversations across the team, forty-five minutes each. The people doing the work, not the org chart.
- Documentation review. Your current process, your tools, your handoffs. What is written. What is actually happening. The gap between them.
- The Friction Map. A written diagnostic. Where work breaks, why, what it is costing, and the two or three changes that would move the most.
- Readout. Ninety minutes with you. A decision, not a pitch.
What you leave with
- The Friction Map, written for you, not a committee.
- A prioritized 30-day fix list.
- A written recommendation on whether the fix is internal, a scoped project, or an ongoing operating rhythm.
- No obligation to hire Ray for anything after.
Price and scope
$4,500. Fixed. Two weeks from kickoff to readout. No expenses, no add-ons, no scope creep. If the diagnosis takes longer than two weeks because of something on Ray's side, the price does not change.
