Terms & Disclosures

The fine print, kept short.

Plain-language notes on how engagements run and how implementation is delivered when a build is needed.

Scope of consulting work

Ray Williams Consulting is an advisory and fractional operator practice. Engagements cover diagnosis, prioritization, workflow and SOP design, and implementation-ready documentation. Specific scope, deliverables, and timeline are agreed in writing for each engagement before work begins.

Implementation (optional scoped build)

Consulting engagements end with implementation-ready documentation. When a fix requires a build, clients may optionally engage a scoped build to deliver it — quoted, contracted, and invoiced separately from consulting.

What you receive: a defined scope of work, a fixed or milestone-based price, source files and access to anything built, and handover documentation. Typical builds include automations, integrations, dashboards, internal tools, or a public-facing surface.

When it's offered: only after consulting has identified a build as the right next step. Clients are always free to execute internally or use any other build partner. Builds are delivered through RAWTech, Ray's separate technical studio, under its own agreement.

Confidentiality

Client information, internal workflows, and engagement materials are treated as confidential by default. A mutual NDA is available on request and is signed before any sensitive discovery work begins.

Payment and cancellation

Fixed-scope engagements (Friction Audit, Systems & Journey Fix) are invoiced on a milestone basis. Retainers are billed monthly in advance with a 3-month initial term and rolling thereafter. Either party may end a retainer with 30 days' written notice after the initial term.

No guarantees

Engagements are delivered with senior operational judgment and a clear methodology, but business outcomes depend on execution and conditions inside the client organization. Nothing on this site or in a proposal is a guarantee of specific financial results.
